About

Clint Roscoe was born on August 5th, 1980 in Minneapolis, Minnesota or to be technically correct, Robinsdale, Minnesota.  He lived in Minneapolis (really Minneapolis this time) until he was 15 and then moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  He graduated high school from the Collegiate at the University of Winnipeg.  He moved back to Minneapolis for a short period and took several courses the University of Minnesota and decided that the Twin Cities was not for him and left.  He moved back to Winnipeg in 2002 and took an intro class on  graphic design at Red River Community College.  It was there he learned how to draw from real life and bought a suggested book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain.  He started school at the University of Winnipeg in 2004 with the intent of getting a degree in philosophy which he didn't complete.  He drew occasionally during college, but It wasn't only until the spring of 2007 that he decided to get really serious about art.  He started going to life drawing sessions at the cre8ery in the exchange district.  He  draws on a daily basis and paints  occasionally.  He presents his works at various exhibitions around Winnipeg.
